CHINESE, POMEGRANATE-FORM WATER VESSEL
Scholar’s water vessel for painting or calligraphy in the form of a pomegranate. Of burl wood inlaid with pebbles of carnelian and jasper. Chinese, late Ming – early Ching Dynasty, 17th – early 18th century.
